The Apprentice (UK series eleven)
Series Eleven of ''The Apprentice'' is a British reality television series, which began on 14 October 2015. Due to the 2015 General Election, which Lord Sugar has ties with, the BBC postponed the series to later in the year to avoid clashing with it. Like the previous series, it began airing with two episodes on 14 and 15 October 2015, though would continue running weekly afterwards.〔(The Apprentice - Series 11 - BBC - FAQs - Home )〕 The number of candidates for the series was increased to 18, from the usual number in previous series except the tenth series. As Nick Hewer had departed from his role as Lord Sugar's aide, his replacement was revealed as Claude Littner, who appeared on the show before in previous series as an interviewer of candidates. 18 candidates competed for the chance to go into business with Lord Sugar, nine men and nine women. There were two teams, Versatile and Connexus. Five candidates - Dan, Jenny, Mergim, Natalie, and Ruth - never had the chance to be Project Manager.
